Second Stage of the Proyect
Conceptual and Detailed Modeling - Renders and Storyboard
Renders of the modeling process, as a story board we can stated that because of the form that this building has, the easier way to develop the model was using Autocad's mesh. First doing a ortogonal object, then with slipface cutting the faces in order to obtain all the edges needed for the contstruction of the form. Modify it with diferent mesh's filter: vertex, edges, face until having the form, guided by the pavilion's plans and the several fotos researched before. Then convert the mesh into surface so we can fillet the sharp edges that should be soft, changing to NURBS and then to 3D solid. Intercept the resultan solid with a rectangular prism and apply union for the entrance and for the internal court create with the plans the base of the court and presspul, localizate in the buiding's solid and the correct height and subtract. These are the steps I used to obtain my figure and this are the results.
Then in order to obteain plans, not only model, I import the AutoCAD archive into revit as a family and load it into a proyect, in this way I could modifie the "mass", by wall by face we closed the mass and aplied curtain wall for the entrance and the interior courtyard. Because of the rare form of the builtding interior floor could not be archieve by the mass option, it had to be made by the conventional option by delimitating an area. Now I applied materials (white porcelain) for the walls and for the plaza (in-situ concrete). Then some ambientation and rendering.

Autors of the Building
Arkan Zeytinoglu

After having won the competition for a new courthouse in Graz, Arkan Zeytinoglu opened his studios in Vienna in 1995. Partner offices in Vienna and abroad.
Today, the head quarter in Vienna, consisting of 15 staff members, does not only provide architectural and interior design services, but also covers environmental development and acts as general contractor for both private and governmental investors.
The variety of projects realised during the past years ranges from office buildings to private housing, hotels and restaurants, with a special focus on hotel design.

SPANs obsessive explorations of contemporary moods (Lavin, S.) are fueled by the opulent repertoire of formations in nature as well as form as a driving force at large. The underlying presence of curvilinear desires reflects back and radiates in conditions informed by a manifold of cultural lineages such as Baroque geometries or the presence of the endless in Frederick Kieslers work.

The Topology of Sound - Proyect Design Concept
The main driving force behind the design of the Austrian Pavilion for the EXPO in Shanghai 2010 can be described as acoustic forces, or more accurately as music. Music as a concept that reflects continuity in terms of architectural articulation that seamlessly connects the various spaces within the program. The embodiment of the sonic conditions within the space manifests the architecture of the pavilion, which resonates to the rhythm of the Video Jockey's (VJs) performance – the conductor of the atmospheres within the main space.The rich history of Austrian musical tradition makes it possible to create a performance program reaching from Baroque Music, to the classic area, to the modern age, to contemporary acts. The space unfurls from within the topological body, from the main space, the audience chamber, to the exterior epidermis. This process creates pockets, poches, that include the rest of the program, such as Shop, Restaurant, Office, VIP Area and so forth. Each of these programmatic areas includes qualities connoted with the quality of living within Austrian conurbations: Music, culture, culinary expertise, urban scapes, opulent landscapes and lavish foliages.
